In this picture you can see the completed wiring job including the reinstalled battery, ECU on the floor in front and AIM EVO4 unit to the right of the ECU. It is crowded, but pretty tidy.
Closer view of completed wiring installation at the back of the dash. I like to use the spiral plastic wire wrap to neaten things up and keep wires from dangling. as crowded as the space is I am pretty happy with the result. Fused circuits include: Ignition, Starter, Fuel Pump, ECU Diagnostic LED, AMB Transponder, and the AIM EVO4 'brain'
New AIM system all installed (physically). I still need to finish up that steering wheel bracket and do the computer setup of the EVO4 unit. BUT - IT WORKS!
A quick bit of testing seems to indicate all is well electrically. The switcheds all work, the rain light blinks, the starter bumps, the fuel system pumps, etc...
So, tomorrow, I should be able to fire it up... (after making oil lines and filling up it with engine and gearbox oil).
Exciting stuff!
More tomorrow,
Sean
